Public Transport

Using public transport is a great way of travelling and helping the environment. At Oakridge we encourage our families to use public transport whenever possible. By travelling on a bus or a train, it reduces the amount of pollution and traffic in our local area! It is also a great way of keeping healthy, if you get off a stop early and walking the rest of the way!

Here are some useful websites to help you plan your journey on public transport.

https://www.carouselbuses.co.uk/timetables-and-fares/

There is the Bus timetable for journeys in our local area.

https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/

This will help you plan your journey around London. You will need an Oyster Card to travel in London.

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

This is for journeys outside of London. If you are travelling from High Wycombe, you will need 'High Wycombe HWY'

http://walkit.com/

This website plans the best route for you if you are walking to your destination.

You can visit different places in the UK by coach using this website.

The coach will pick you up from either Handy Cross Coachway or the Bus station in High Wycombe. You can use this coach service to take you to the airport or visit London, Bath, Birmingham or Bristol.
