Topic Work

This term we are learning about the civilisation of the Ancient Mayans, exploring themes related to astronomy, mathematics, writing systems, religion, food, sports and the hierarchy of the society. Children are developing their literacy and debating skills - working on reasoning for and against different ideas. We have also been using inferring skills  to 

study evidence connected with the period.

In the second half of term we are studying Poland, learning about Polish life and culture, leading up to our Globetrotters week.
