These are the words spoken by a number of different people associated with Oakridge and it is these words that sum up why Oakridge School is a fantastic place to be. We are one community and we work together to transform the life chances of all our children. We are guided by a common set of school values:
We are a school that caters for children from Nursery for 3 Year olds up to Year 6. We have two classes per year group, which means we have approximately 470 pupils attending the school. We are extremely proud of the diverse nature of the school and welcome everybody.
Our curriculum is designed to give children the knowledge, skills and understanding needed in life to succeed. It is based on knowing our children well as individuals.
We have an unrelenting ambition to improve and drive the school forward. Together we work hard to ensure that all pupils make good progress at the school, not just academically but personally and socially as well.
I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of Oakridge. The commitment shown by staff and Governors to make a difference to children’s lives is truly inspirational.
Please enjoy browsing our website to find out more about our school and if you are considering sending your child here, please make an appointment to visit the school so we can show you why we are so proud of our school.
