Message from the Headteacher
‘We feel part of the Oakridge family’
These are the words a parent told an inspector during our last inspection, and it is this that makes Oakridge such a unique and special school. The children, staff, governors and parents all work closely together guided by a common set of school values:
- Open Mindedness
We are a school that caters for children from Nursery for 3 Year olds up to Year 6. We have two classes per year group, which means we have approximately 430 pupils attending the school. We are extremely proud of the diverse nature of the school and welcome everybody.
Our school motto is ‘Amaze and Achieve’ which means we strive to amaze, excite and engage thus allowing each child, no matter their ability, to achieve in each lesson.
We have an unrelenting ambition to improve and drive the school forward. Together we work hard to ensure that all pupils make good progress at the school, not just academically but personally and socially as well.
I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of Oakridge - it is a very special school. Please enjoy browsing our website to find out more about our school and if you are considering sending your child here, please make an appointment to visit the school so we can show you why we are so proud of our school.
