PSHE and RHE

At Oakridge, we respect and are sensitive with regards to our community. We have made a conscious decision not to teach the SE (Sex Education) part of the new RHSE curriculum. If we decide to teach this in the future, this will be done in Year 6 and Year 6 parents will be notified and given the option to withdraw their child. 

In addition, we do not promote different types of relationships. However, we do teach pupils to respect others' choices and to treat everybody with respect.
