Shakespeare club

Performing in the Shakespear Summer Festival was truly an amazing experience. I performed one of Shakespear's bloodiest plays - Macbeth. I still remember walking onto the stage, getting into battle position and getting ready to 'fight'! We performed the best we had ever done. My favourite part was the last scene. I felt honoured to play the role of Macduff for I would close the show. Once we had done our performance, it felt bittersweet. We had performed Macbeth and given it our all, but it was the end of the experience. Looking back on it, I am so grateful for the opportunity, everyone was so motivational. Our teachers were there watching us perform and I know we did them proud. - Ashvini
